Product Sustainability-Circularity Policy Tool (PSCP) for Cricket Clothing

Background

With cricket being the world’s second largest sport and played by around 300 million people, the production of cricket clothing to satisfy existing markets has a substantial environmental impact and will be likely to fall under forthcoming fashion, clothing, and textile policy, legislation, and standards.

PSCP aims to develop a tool to identify and analyse existing and forthcoming product sustainability and circularity policy, legislation and standards developments and requirements related specifically to cricket clothing building on elements of the PC4Fashion Tool that was developed for the use of the broader textile and fashion industry.

PSCP is funded by the University for the Creative Arts UKRI/AHRC Impact Accelerator award.
