Background
The number of Repair Cafes has expanded significantly with Repair Cafe International Foundation (RCIF) now highlighting that over 2900 Repair Cafes operate worldwide. The European Commission recently progressed ‘Right to Repair’ legislation and a Repair Directive is by DG Justice and Consumers. The social and community dimensions of repair cafes are increasingly being recognised alongside the environmental benefits. New Repair Cafes are now opening on a weekly basis and will play an increasingly important role at a local level.
This webinar will be the 3rd in a series of European Repair Café conferences organised jointly by The Centre for Sustainable Design ® in UCA and the Repair Café International Foundation.

The conference is focused on practical issues being faced by Repair Cafes and is targeted at trustees, managers, repairers and other volunteers; and will be suitable for those that are in start-up or more experienced Repair Cafes.
